Bolt Tablet Enhancements:
- Improved Notification Area – The notification area can be accessed by pressing the small clock in the lower right corner of the screen, just like in ICS 4.0 and Honeycomb 3.0. However, the notifications in Jelly Bean are richer, and in some cases (like Gmail) will display a preview of the app to help you decide if you want to access the app or just dismiss the notification.
- Intuitively Resizable Widget – Previous versions of Android made it difficult to place widgets just anywhere on your homescreen, but Jelly Bean 4.1 moves everything out of the way when you want to place a widget in a particular area of the homescreen.
- Offline Voice Typing – ICS 4.0 featured voice typing, but you had to be connected to the internet. Now you can do that on your Cherry Mobile Fusion Bolt without being connected over WiFi.
- Google Now – Sort of like the old Google Search app, except with a little more functionality. Not that useful on a strictly WiFi-only tablet though.
Cherry boasts to claim that the battery hours reaches up to 8 hours when gaming. 10 hours internet browsing, and 300 hours standby time max. which is not impossible given that it hosts a 4,000 Milli amperes battery with good enough quality screen size and resolution.
For me, a great use of this tablet is for reading comics, and for experiments to mod and try out emulator roms and games. The Quad Core will give you a good enough gaming speed for that. and the HDMI-out port will be a good asset too. I have myself a Nexus7 but I cant do that with my tab because it has no HDMI out, and besides; I would hate to ruin my battery on that tablet which is awesomely strong and pricy-er than this only P3999 Fusion Bolt.
I've tried experimenting and playing with an HDMI out on a galaxy s2 and I just love it. and this tablet is just the thing I'm looking for. Now; when I buy a Fusion Bolt I can now play Sega games, Family Computer games, Nintendo SuperNES games and Playstation 1 (PS one) games, and not to mention, the bigger screen on the Fusion Bolt would be a better controller compared to using smartphones.
Experimenting; Playing with a Galaxy s2 on it's Mini HDMI out port.
